What is a seamless pattern?
A seamless pattern also known as a pattern or rapport is a repeating design that repeats vertically (from top to bottom) and horizontally (from right to left), allowing the design to repeat itself infinitely many times as we want.
In other words, it is a repeating piece (rapport) based on an original drawing, whose shapes fit together, both vertically and horizontally, to generate an all-over infinite pattern.
The pattern designs range from geometric, abstract, floral,... and can be of many different types. This makes it a resource of infinite uses and applications, such as in the textile sector, packaging, advertising and design.
